About this camp

Camp Invention provides an immersive, hands-on STEM summer experience designed to ignite creativity, foster innovation, and develop critical problem-solving skills in children entering grades K-6. Through engaging modules like "Fur-ensics," campers sharpen detective skills with robotic capybaras, exploring forensic science and building sleuthing gadgets. In "Make Waves," children dive into entrepreneurship and physics, designing and pitching innovative billboard boats. "Space Morphers" takes young explorers on an out-of-this-world adventure to build DIY rockets and transform planets. Campers also team up with the "Innovation Force" in "The Infringers" to protect intellectual property and solve community challenges. These activities encourage collaboration, persistence, and confidence, empowering children to become creators, innovators, and entrepreneurs. Participants gain valuable 21st-century skills, including adaptive creativity, evaluative thinking, and teamwork, all while having fun and applying scientific inquiry and engineering design to real-world challenges.
