Coco Academy provides a maker space environment where young minds can unleash creativity and ingenuity through hands-on experiences with modern technology and old-school shop class principles.
Coco Academy Summer Camp offers weekly themed STEAM camps for children ages 5-14. Campers engage in hands-on, project-based learning where they design, build, and test their own inventions. Activities include exploring robotics, creating Rube Goldberg contraptions, experimenting with solar, wind, and kinetic energy, and designing and launching model rockets. The camp focuses on developing practical skills in areas like 3D printing, laser cutting, and circuitry, empowering students to bring their creative ideas to life and solve real-world problems using STEAM principles. Each week culminates with campers testing their creations outdoors at a nearby park.
A typical day involves working on projects related to the weekly theme, designing and building inventions, and spending time outdoors at a nearby park to test creations.
This camp is best for curious children aged 5-14 who enjoy hands-on projects, inventing, and exploring how things work using STEAM principles.
