About this camp

In this BattleBots® Camp, teens will engage in the exciting world of robotics engineering. Participants will customize, build, and wire their own robot champion using the VEX Robotics Design System. They will learn to program their robots with VEX C++ to perform various actions and navigate challenges. The camp culminates in a BattleBots®-style robot showdown where students compete against each other, optimizing their robot's hardware and software between competitions. This hands-on experience allows students to explore mechanical engineering principles and develop problem-solving skills in a fun, competitive environment.

What a typical day looks like

A typical day includes morning announcements and icebreakers, followed by coursework in the labs. After lunch in the campus dining hall, students return to the labs for more instruction and project work, with an afternoon break for outdoor activities or board games.
