Students develop a project and submit it to NVIDIA® for official review and certification, receiving an official certificate and taking home a Jetson Orin Nano™ to continue their work.
The iD Tech NVIDIA® AI and Machine Learning Academy is an intensive two-week pre-college program for teens ages 13-18. Participants delve into the latest AI technology using the Jetson Orin Nano™, integrating Linux and Python coding with machine learning datasets and cutting-edge NVIDIA® hardware. Students build image recognition models that can identify objects or track poses and movement. The curriculum emphasizes hands-on projects and discussions around AI ethics, privacy, and responsible design. The program culminates in a final project submitted directly to NVIDIA® for official review and certification, providing participants with an official certificate of completion and the Jetson Orin Nano™ to continue their work. This academy aims to equip students with skills and experience for college or careers in AI and machine learning.
A typical day involves assignment-driven workshops in a lab on a university campus, balanced with outdoor and recreational activities.
This program is ideal for teens interested in pursuing STEM fields in college or as a career, specifically those looking to gain insights into how machine learning shapes the future of technology.
