About this camp

The Drexel University Digital Development Camp, VirtuaQuest, is a specialized four-week in-person summer program led by the School of Computer and Information Sciences (SCIS). Participants gain hands-on experience in areas such as virtual reality, artificial intelligence, programming, and game development. The camp focuses on building technical skills and exploring future paths in computing. Campers attend a variety of workshops and lectures given by SCIS faculty on topics including gaming, artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science, socially relevant computing, quantum computing, and AI security. Working in teams, campers apply their learned skills to bring their visions to life through programming, AI/machine learning, and data science. The program culminates in a virtual showcase where campers demonstrate their work.

What a typical day looks like

Each day campers attend a variety of workshops and a lecture given by an SCIS faculty member on topics such as gaming, artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, and data science.

The camp is open to rising high school sophomores, juniors, seniors and accepted SCIS first-year students interested in technology and digital development.
