The Temple University Summer Robotics Institute offers high school students an immersive, project-based learning experience in robotics and electronics within a university lab environment. Participants will learn to build and program autonomous mobile robots to perform various tasks such as obstacle avoidance, lane following, playing music, and dancing. The curriculum introduces students to key concepts in electrical and computer engineering, including sensors, motors, microcontrollers, and other electrical components. Through hands-on activities and guidance from Temple professors, graduate, and undergraduate students, campers will gain practical skills in visual programming with Makecode and object-oriented programming with Python.
