The Thomas Jefferson University STEM Summer Camp Experience is a free, three-week day camp designed for students entering 6th to 9th grade in the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. The program exposes students to how engineers apply math, science, and engineering principles through hands-on experiments and projects. Campers will be introduced to emerging technologies in data analytics, 3D printing, logical programming, engineering design process, and logistics. Activities include using data science to analyze local sports teams' performance, designing and 3D printing parts using SolidWorks© software, performing supply chain planning, and writing code to analyze sports statistics. The camp aims to nurture the next generation of engineers by providing engaging, real-world applications of STEM concepts.
Students attend Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., engaging in hands-on experiments and projects related to engineering principles and emerging technologies.
