Camp Invention delivers an immersive, hands-on STEM summer camp experience designed for children in grades K-6, fostering creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills. Participants engage in dynamic challenges inspired by National Inventors Hall of Fame Inductees, developing confidence, persistence, and teamwork. Campers explore diverse scientific and engineering concepts, such as forensic science through investigating mysteries with robotic capybaras and designing sleuthing gadgets. They delve into entrepreneurship by prototyping and pitching innovative billboard boats, and learn about physics and engineering by building and launching DIY space rockets. The program emphasizes applying an inventor-informed Design Thinking Process, encouraging children to take risks, experiment with upcycled materials, and understand the value of intellectual property. Each week features a brand-new curriculum, ensuring a fresh and engaging experience that cultivates an "I Can Invent" mindset and prepares young innovators to tackle real-world issues with ingenuity.

What a typical day looks like

Campers begin with a warm-up activity at Base Camp, then rotate through two morning STEM modules. After lunch and outdoor games, they engage in two more exciting modules before returning to Base Camp for a final problem-solving challenge.
